Includes main hall, deck over the water, kitchen, toilets, shower and boat ramp. Have a meeting overlooking Pittwater. The grass area next to the hall is a public park not scout land, so is available to any picnicker's . If you need to be 100% confident all the grass area is secure for your event, then book a portion of park through council.

Weekend evening rates are $375 for the first 3 hours, then $50 per hour.
                                   
Day rates are $225 for the first 3 hrs then $40 per additional hour.

Bookable for meetings, courses, kids
parties, 30ths 40ths etc, but
NO 15th to 28th birthday parties.

For functions completely inside our hall the maximum number at your event is 100 people, including your helpers. However we only have two toilet so depending on the type of event, less than 80 is preferred. (Nearby tennis club toilets are NOT available for use. The only public toilet is a 450m walk to the next park - if it happens to be unlocked.)

The hall can seat a maximum of 60 people around tables inside.

We have some chairs and plastic tables available for use during your rental. You provide your own table cloths if needed.
                        
We can optionally provide ONE large wheelie bin for your rubbish for $25 By the agreed end time of your rental all excess rubbish must be removed by you.

50% deposit is required to secure your booking with the final payment due 10 days before the event

A security bond of $400 is required. This will  be refunded after the hall has been inspected and deemed OK.

The hall will be cleaned prior to your function and you are required to clean at the end of your function. If the hall is not returned to the condition you found it, a $75 cleaning fee will be taken from you bond, plus the costs of rubbish removal, plus inconvenience to the next hall user.  

Your set up helpers may not take the same care as you. So keep an eye on them, especially with things such as tying decorations or balloons to our fire extinguisher triggers as this makes them inoperative and is reckless and dangerous for your guests and for our building. Similarly hammering nails into our wood panel walls for your decorations is a no no. (you would loose all your bond and be black listed)

Hire by Scout Groups:

We expect Bayview Scout Hall to be available Jan 2022 onwards.

Availability:               Friday through Sunday and school holidays.

Hiring Rates:            $20.00 per person single day

                                    $30.00 per person for full weekend
                                    Discount for big groups
                                    (minimum number of people - 8).
 

                                    This includes the use of canoes,
                                    kayaks, paddles and life jackets. These

                                    are only available if notified at time of booking
                                    AND

                                    if you have suitable qualified water activities
                                    leaders present & "guide level" approval for

                                    your planned water activities)

                                    (Windsurfers, sailing boats, outboard, tinny,
                                    RIB, rowing boat, yacht not available)

 Optional Fees        $25 to empty our wheelie bin, no charge if you

                                    take all your rubbish away

                                   $75 cleaning fee, if you don't manage to clean,
                                   deck hall, toilets, and kitchen back to state it
                                   was in on arrival.
